Kusadasi,
one of Turkey's principle holiday resorts, offers an excellent environment
for an unforgettable holiday. Situated on the west coast of Turkey- 90km
south of Izmir, Kusadasi, is reputed for one of the most attractive city
of the Aegean, as it is close to the important historical sites including
Ephesus, Didyma, Priene, Miletos-the principals of ancient times, and
ideal for sightseers. Kusadasi
has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters,
providing a long tourism season.The city is bathed in sunshine for 300
days of the year.
To
reach Kusadasi,
if you did not have a transfer arranged or come by taxi, follow the Izmir-Aydin highway direction Aydin till Torbali, then
follow the Selcuk road from where you turn right to Kusadasi. On
the way, you will be surprised, during this one and a half-hour's trip, to
discover wild landscapes, a colourful world of flowers, cotton fields Kusadasi
has bus connections with all major cities and touristy resorts of the
country. They generally offer the choice of a day or night trip and a free
transfer from city centre to the bus station. A very comfortable and
relaxing way to discover the different landscapes of the country while
heading for your next stop. Within
Kusadasi, the best way to travel is to take the "dolmus"
(municipal minibuses). From town centre, you reach in minutes any
direction you wish: hotels, beaches, neighbouring villages... They are
allowed to take up to 15 passengers and each municipality sets their
prices. A
more private way to tour in the village is taxis: they are all
yellow-painted cars, equipped with taximeters and recognizable to their
sign "Taksi". Each municipality also fixes prices. Mind the day
and night tariffs. Kusadasi
harbor is one of the most developed on the Aegean coast and is accessible
to any kind of ship. The pride of Kusadasi is that the village is being
visited by the world's biggest transatlantic "Grand Princess"
but also by other famous cruise ships such as the Renaissance, Stella
Solaris, Queen Odessa, Star, Costa Victoria, Celebrity Cruises, etc...
These ships usually sail from Venice or Pireaus. Kusadasi
is also accessible from the Greek island, Samos, daily from April 1st till
October 31st (two-hours' journey). The
Marina of Kusadasi is a favorite stop for yachtsmen. With a capacity of
approx. 500, depth of between 2,5 THE BEACHES ARE: Pigeon Island Beach: A private beach, situated on the shore of the island. Ideal
for the swimmers enjoying translucent and deep waters of the Aegean. City Beach: Located in the Centrum, the sandy beach provides a perfect
environment. Yilanciburnu Beach: A quiet beach, located on the peninsula behind Pigeon
Island. It can be reached by Kadinlar
Denizi (Ladies Beach) minibuses in every 5 minutes. Ladies Beach : The powdery sandy beach of Ladies Beach
provides excellent entertaining within its borders. Kadinlar

Beach) minibuses departure from the city Centrum in every 5 minutes Kustur Beach: With its varied activities including water-skiing,
parasailing, surfing, Kustur Beach is located on the 6th km of Selcuk
road, and can be reached by
Sehirici minibuses from the city centre Tusan Beach: Situated just near Kustur Beach , Tusan Beach offers unlimited fun with the various choices of beach&water activities. The
beach is located on the 7th km of Selcuk road and can be reached by Sehirici
minibuses Long
Beach:
The long sandy beach and cyristal-clear water of Long Beach are ideal for
swimming, water sports and peaceful resting. The beach is 6km south of
Kusadasi, -between Batihan Hotel and Nazilli Site, and can be reached by
Sahil Siteleri minibuses
in every 5 minutes. Gold
Beach:
The golden sandy beach of Gold Beach is ideal spot for a holiday, located
between Emekli Sandigi camp and Emektur Area. Silver
Beach:
Excellent clear waters of Silver Beach awaits to be explored. The beach is
located around Ozlem Site and SSK Site
Love
Beach:
Located
near Genclik Camp, the Love Beach provides visitors with a perfect
opportunity to make water activities and swim in relaxing conditions. Guzelcamli
Town Beaches:
The quiet beaches in pretty Guzelcamli offer a restful peace. National
Park minibuses pass through the beaches in every 30
minutes. National
Park Beaches:
The beaches are located 30km southwest of Kusadasi. Icmeler, Aydinlik,
Kavakli and Karasu bays are the principals of the numerous secluded bays
and coves in the park. Clear waters of the bays provide an opportunity to
dive. Only Icmeler bay has the sandy beach. You will feel the real
quietness while resting peacefully in the shades of the pines.
