Bushire Province
Bushire City The
city and one of Iran's chief ports, is
located 400 kilometres south of Tehran, in south-eastern Iran on the
Persian Gulf. The chief products of the surrounding area of Bushire are Shμraz
wine, which has been famed for centuries; inlaid articles of wood;
metalwork, especially silver; rugs; brocades and other textiles; cement;
and fertilizer. Iran’s major natural resources include petroleum,
natural gas, coal, chromium, copper, iron ore, lead, manganese, zinc and
sulphur.
Dashtestan Dashtestan’s
old name was "Shabankareh".
The centre of the area was an old town called Eij, which was famous for
its date and orange. It is located north to Bushehr and the
weather here is very hot and humid. Dashti The
district of Dashti is located south to Bushehr city. The town Khormoj is
the centre of this district. The town Kaki is the centre of the Dashti
area, which was called "Mandestan".
Tangistan
Tangistan is one of the districts of Bushehr and its centre is the town
Ahrum. The well Known castle of Tangistan is located in this district. |
